About Two Sheep Soapery.
I have been a qualified holistic therapist since 1994. I am qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage & Reiki. I have been making handmade soap, Cosmetics & Candles since 2011/12 after a diagnosis of breast cancer.
I wanted to make my own products for myself & for my home as I wanted to control what products I was using on my body & in my home.
My soap making business primarily uses sustainable animal fats of tallow, Lard, Lanolin & sheep's milk which are great for sensitive skins, excema, psoriasis & acne.
My candles are either made from a tallow blend which is sustainable (a by product of the meat industry & often discarded) & a vegetable/mineral blend. My beautiful & much admired pillar candles are made from specialist paraffin waxes.
I use professional fragrance oils made in the UK/France by perfumers & essential oils. The fragrance oils I use, give a added, exciting dimension to my products that cannot be found by using essential oils.
My lifestyle is a gentle nose to tail one & I try to reuse everything, compost & be kind to the environment where possible.
All my cosmetics are assessed by a UK cosmetic chemist & have CPSR's, insurance (Cosmetic & Candles) & I am a member of the Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletery Makers (Based in the UK). No. 8427.
I am also trademarked in ROI, UK & NI & Registered with the CRO 6886225 (Ireland).
I live on a really beautiful 200 year old Irish small holding in County Longford which I am renovating. I am very honoured to be its present custodian & I'm working very hard to get it back to how it once was if I can.
I keep a small flock of Suffolk, Charolais x Texel & Rare breed Galway sheep, a Sannen nanny goat, 4 farm cats & a rescue lurcher dog. In the past, I used to keep many kinds of poultry too (Ducks, Geese & Chickens).

i have a great interest in history (which is reflected in my products) & I have been a practising witch for over 30 years.
As well as being a qualified holistic healer (I work with both humans & animals), I read the tarot when I have time & also use a pendulum to get answers to various questions.
